ABOUT THE 4As

The Association of Accredited Advertising Agents Malaysia (4As) was founded in the 1960’s to promote good advertising and better inform the public on the availability of goods and services, and in doing so, promote the interest of advertising agencies with their clients, the advertisers.

The 4As deals with industry issues and makes recommendations to its members. It negotiates for better practices with the other industries and industry bodies having direct or indirect relationship with the advertising business. It liaises with Government and other bodies on matters affecting the work of advertising as a whole, in representing its members’ interest as responsible, professional practitioners of advertising.

The 4As also engages the business community in regular dialogue, in its desire to demonstrate to business the relevance of advertising, and the vital role it plays as an undeniably effective vehicle of marketing communication.

The 4As is also an educator, providing its members and the industry with a regular supply of advertising personnel through the training programmes it conducts.
