|Effie Peru Awarded the 2012 Most Effective Marketing Communication Strategies|

The most effective marketing communications campaigns, carried out by advertisers and agencies, were recognized at the 17th annual Effie awards ceremony in Peru. The 2012 Effie Peru Awards presentation was held at the Hotel Los Delfines in San Isidro.
The most eagerly anticipated prize of the night, the 2012 Grand Effie, was awarded to Promperu and the Young & Rubicam agency for the launch of the Peru brand campaign to the domestic market. The "Lanzamiento de la Marca Perú" campaign also won a Gold Effie award in the corporate image category.
“Advertisers and advertising agencies continue to show us that, year after year, creativity and marketing strategies effectively exceed expectations,” said Flavia Maggi, General Manager of the EFFIE Awards Peru and Vice-President of Ipsos APOYO.
The big winners of the night were Coca Cola and the Publicis agency partners, which obtained three and six awards, respectively.
Coca Cola won Gold and Silver Effies in the Beverages Category. The brand also took home a Gold Effie in the Low-Budget category.
Meanwhile, Circus agency won Effie awards in the Corporate Image category, as well as in the Retail, Services and Food categories. Circus agency also took home two Effie's in the Financial Services category.
The launch campaign for Huancaína Alacena cream, Alicorp company, whose campaign was developed by Q Communications Group agency, won the Gold EFFIE in New Product Launch category.
For its part, Backus was awarded the gold EFFIE in the category campaigns with non-commercial purposes, for their campaign "Movimiento súmate, sólo + 18: Promoviendo la venta responsable."
