KUALA LUMPUR, 20 Nov 2009: Public Bank has emerged as the country’s most valuable brand in the third annual ranking of Malaysia’s Most Valuable Brands - a league table that values the Top 30 consumer-facing Malaysian brands. These brands were honoured at an awards night presided by Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department, Tan Sri Nor Mohamed Yakcop.

Kuala Lumpur, 30 September 2009 – Entries for the Digital category in the Kancil Awards are up by 100% in comparison to last year. With more clients embracing digital media these days, it is no wonder that entries have increased exponentially.

THIS year’s Kancil Awards, organised by the Association of Accredited Advertising Agents (4As), will feature the largest line-up of jurors ever in the history of this creative awards show.

KUALA LUMPUR: The Kancil Awards, the annual creative awards show organised by the Association of Accredited Advertising Agents Malaysia (4As), will drop the overall “Best of Show” Golden Kancil this year. Instead, 10 category Golden Kancils will be awarded.

With seven international and forty-one local judges coming together for this year’s judging, this is by far the largest line-up of jurors ever assembled in the history of the Kancil Awards. This massive gathering of creative talents spanning the region serves to elevate and enhance the prestige of the 2009 Kancil Awards.

THIS year’s Kancil Awards will see not one but 10 Best of Show Golden Kancils being given out, in recognition of the best creative ideas of the industry in various categories.

THE Kancil Awards, the local advertising industry’s main creative awards show, will still go on this year despite the challenging economic climate, but gone are the hive of activities building up to it.
